It's great. It has been on for over two years and looks great.
I put mine on in the bathroom. I ran the shower (hot) and the steam took all the dust particles out of the air.
I love this screen protector. I took my time and it was perfect.
I wiped the psp thoroughly (slim, it fits pretty good. Less than 1mm gap around edges) with the included cloth.
no discoloring no loose corners nothing. I bought three (I have the original psp also) and have yet to use the 3rd one yet.
I'm not sure why people are complaining about theproduct and its application process. It was fairlyeasy and fits perfectly fine onto the screen"WITOUT" the airbubbles or smudges. My only concern is that the screen has lost someclarity. Everything seems just a fraction/bitblurry now.But other than that, on a scale of 1-10, I'dgive this product a nice 9/10. Its reasonable andworth the buy ^_^
I read the reviews of this screen protector before I purchased it. Bottom line I can get the film to install with no air pockets, but a day later I will have one or two. I made sure to follow not only the instructions in the package, but also the instructions posted on here. They don't work. It's not possible to keep them away.I do keep the protector on though. the air pockets really don't bother me too much anyways.
I bought it for my new PSP3000 since I wanted to make sure this one stayed clean and protected from the beginning. The instructions for application are in Japanese, which is not surprising since this is a Japanese product, but there are very self-explanatory pictures. This is a good buy not only because its cheap. Now its protecting my PSP very nicely and its like its not even there with the added bonus of less dust and hardly any fingerprints, unlike the actual PSP screen. However, you won't even notice the line when the PSP is turned on, only when the system is turned off, in which case you won't even be looking at the screen unless you like to stare at the PSP while it's turned off. It went on smoothly without bubbles the first try. The cloth that was included does a good job of wiping away all those dusts particles.
These plastic films have tabs with comments in English, so its not hard to figure out what to do. It does its job and is easy to apply. On the screen protector itself, there are two other plastic films on the front and back. Didn't even need to bother with the soap film technique. Also if you have the older versions of PSP, the screen protector reduces glare so you should be able to play better outside.Just make sure your screen is very clean with ABSOLUTELY NO dust or anything on it, otherwise it'll be stuck between the PSP screen and the protector screen, which will get annoying as you game. Also the screen is a little bigger than the screen by less than even half a millimeter, so there will be a slight bubble line on the side either to the right or left depending on how you align the screen protector. And if you had that much spare time, you would probably be playing on the PSP instead.Pro:- easy application (not lying, I applied it myself and I'm not the most careful person in the world)- gives peace of mind knowing the scratches are not on the actual PSP screen- looks like it is not even there- reduces dust, fingerprints, and glareCon:- must clean PSP screen very well before application- instructions are in Japanese- screen protector is slightly larger than screen
I removed and reapplied to only find myself with two times the air bubbles and lint the filter captured just from holding it in the air. Biggest waste of money I've spent. How anyone else got this on properly is beyond me and the positive feedback are people probably coping with this bad product. I carefully read the instructions and applied as directed. No matter how careful you are air bubbles are inevitable. STAY AWAY. DO NOT BUY.
